Skin Challenges Lead


 

Assignment scope & ambition:

  • Manage end-to-end a 2-day scientific event in Dermatology field, with ambition to:

- - Position AbbVie as key partner in Dermatology

- - Deliver a differentiating scientific program for dermatologists

- - Connect Health Care Professionals together

- - Federate team around a common project (cross-functional project)


Key elements of this assignment:

  • End-to-end project management – Delivering a transversal & essential tactic for the Business Unit
  • Develop entire communication plan & materials related to event
  • Liaise with external agency – Set up location, hospitality, visibility, retro-planning
  • Management of full project and associated budget
  • Interactions with Health Care Professionals
  • 1st edition of meeting took place in 2023, with strong success à Integrate lessons learned collected, taking next edition to next level.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Definition of scientific program with Brand Team, along with adequate speakers
  • Point of contact of external agency: define location, hours, rooms needed, set-ups, detailed budget, retroplanning
  • Build communication plan and customer experience journey
  • Work with creative agency to develop all materials for In Field Teams to invite: save-the-dates, invites, reminders using both digital & non-digital possibilities.
  • Co-lead with Business Unit Manager the set up a Steering Committee composed of Health Care Professionnals to advise on event
  • Organize & coordinate contracting, briefings, follow-up of national/international speakers & Steering Committee consultancies
  • In charge of project validation (MAP) and procedures
  • Responsible for budget allocation within the project envelope
  • Coordinate project with all stakeholders involved (see below)
  • Organize Present project status on regular touchpoints, possibly on different platforms with different audiences (e.g staff meetings for operational aspects, Brand Team Meetings for key decisions making steps or brainstormings…)

  • Planning: anticipate retro-planning of tasks to meat deadlines
  • Initiative: self-starter, sees easily opportunities and takes charge of those without being prompted. Positive initiatives are always welcomed and reviewed in coordination with the rest of the team
  • Indirect leadership & Teamwork: federate cross-functional team members (having each their own priorities) around a common goal. Team player with capability of working independently while always sharing relevant information with team & manager.
  • Communication skills: clear, efficient, great interactions with Health Care Professionals to secure deadlines are reached while partnering is reinforced
  • Innovation: explores alternative successful ways of working to bring next edition to a greater level (KPIs reaching higher results than 1st edition)
  • Adaptability : switches quickly from one task to another without losing efficiency
  • Flexibility on work demands, able to work under pressure or with short deadlines

+ fluency in English, and either Dutch and/or French
