Project Engineer Automation

 We are looking for an Project Engineer for Automation. Together with the team you will
contribute to the analysis of automation projects and the definition of hardware and
software specifications.
Our products are used by customers doing all diverse kinds of scientific activities, so

you will need to start by learning a thing or two about the industry we live and breathe

Key Responsibilities

• You will oversee developing software by analyzing, programming, testing, and

putting into service safety related control systems, while ensuring that project
documentation is in line with the internal QMS (Quality Management System)
procedures and guidelines.

• After the start-up of the systems, you will be responsible to provide high level

technical support.

• You can work on projects with several people involved, under a structured Quality

Management System that is audited regularly by several authorities.

• With your analytical mind you will be able to provide efficient technical problem

solving, while keeping the project schedule.

• You will create high quality technical documentation.
• You keep up the team spirit with your effective communication skills and can perform

under a heavy workload.

• You are goal / result focused and able to understand and satisfy customer needs, in

mission critical applications.
Your Qualifications

• Master or bachelor's degree in Automation or Electrical/electronic engineering
• 3 years of experience or more are desirable
• Have an eye for detail
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Able to understand and create an electrical schematic
• Able to use a scripting language (preferable Python)
• Able to understand 2D and 3D mechanical drawings
• Able to use a 3D printer for rapid prototyping
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite
• Willing to travel for short missions (approx. 25% of your time)
