Cohabs is an international coliving operator and investor based in Brussels, Belgium with offices in Paris, New York, Madrid, and Luxembourg. The company specializes in designing the best coliving experience, providing modern furnished homes with private bedrooms and shared living spaces.
Cohabs opened their first house in Brussels with 15 members in 2016 and today their network consists of more than 60 houses around the world with a community of 1000+ members. Cohabs is expanding fast while maintaining a vibrant startup atmosphere.
Job Description
The mission of the Physical Product Specialist is to maintain the quality of our physical product worldwide (our houses), and guarantee that the different Cohabs’ teams have all the information to do likewise. It means working on both the upcoming house and the existing houses.
This covers innovations and furniture adaptation to new markets or to members/internal feedbacks, but also tracking and analysis of every house, quality control, etc. He/She’s in charge that a Cohabs house feels like a Cohabs house everywhere at anytime, to ensure a maximized member experience.
Here are the main missions related to the position :
- Conduct internal market research and gather members feedback to identify new product opportunities
- Lead the feedback collections from members, teams and suppliers and spread the feedback culture in all departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, project, and property management, to develop and launch new features and products
- Develop and manage product roadmaps
- Creates and Communicate Product Standards worldwide to reach Cohabs’ objectives
- Collaborate with Innovation Manager for product releases, including testing and quality assurance
- Monitor product evolutions, product feedbacks and product closely
- Execute the quality & safety control Audit, the analysis of the results and the solution implementation
- Work closely with Sourcing, Procurement and Supply Manager and Head of Property Management to define maintenance strategy of our physical product
- Manage the Trainee Product Specialist (objectives, 1to1, reporting)
- Reporting to the Head of Product on a monthly basis for projects & results
- Defines product management related OKR w. VP Product and is responsible to achieve those goals for both old and news houses
- Supports & push sustainable implementation & tests within house with Impact & Project teams
- What we are looking for :
To be the perfect for that position, we are looking for someone with :
- Strong communication skills. You will work with very different profiles and almost all the teams within Cohabs, it’s essential to understand, be understood and adapt to who’s in front of you !
- Huge sensitivity to decoration, spaces, design. This is a must have, you will spend a lof of time making sure our houses are qualitative and meet our standards.
- A problem-solving approach will be needed to analyse each problem through different scope and solve it with adequate teams (quantitative and qualitative approach)
- Strong written and oral english skills
- Appetite to meet and support our local teams everywhere, visit the houses worldwide and improve the Cohabs product everywhere
- 2 years minimum of a successful experience in Product Management, in Property Management, in Project Management, Consulting, Interior Design or missions related to the ones described in the offer
